This gift voucher entitles the recipient to participate in one Tabletop Letterpress workshop.
DETAILS
This 3 hour workshop is a hands-on introduction to the Chandler & Price pilot platen and Showcard Mini proof presses. Participants will:
+learn my make-ready, printing and clean-up process
+hand-set personal messages with wood or lead type and embellish with cuts (images)
+take home your own set of custom printed stationery
+learn the basics of letterpress printing including terminology, equipment, typesetting, make-ready, ink mixing, press maintenance and more...
Participants are required to bring in their own pre-cut cardstock. A list of recommended letterpress-appropriate cardstockwill be provided upon purchase of the gift voucher.
LOCATION
Scarborough, Ontario just off the 401 highway. If you're taking the TTC, it's a short walk from Scarborough Centre station. Details of location will be provided upon purchase of gift voucher.
